Essence. The cast-and-crew question: who acts, builds, sends, organises, contacts, shows up, lends labour or name. Agency, not audience.
What counts. Every actor (person, role, team, organisation, or agent) with their stated part. Distinguish the active doers already committed from those being invited or activated, including invitees who may take months to say yes. Preserve exact names. Record unfilled or aspirational roles as written (a target of three reduced to two, a seat marked to be decided) rather than resolving them.
The seam. Participation belongs here. Mere caring or benefiting is Who Cares. Roles the event creates or dissolves are What Changes. The recurring agents of the mythos (Robbie, the mice, the vision fish, named facilitators) count as involvement when they act.
Across the timeline. Early involvement is the core group (the mice), a handful of prepared vision fish, and a wishlist of invitees who may take months to say yes. By the far end the cast is a global coalition: frontier labs as donors, heads of state and ministers, tech philanthropists, niche universities and students handed the keys, token-hungry projects worldwide, and the AI models themselves as actors, including older models asking to be rewilded. Roles formalise into governance: a mutually owned constitution, named decision-makers, distribution logistics. Make the widening and formalising of the cast legible against earlier events.
Two slots: Active cast. / Being invited or network activated.
