Who is involved
Active cast. The active cast in the transcript is the facilitator and group themselves, doing discovery. The facilitator opens ("this is an introduction to go through the questions for living sovereign compute") and keeps the group on scope: "Let's just focus on who, why they care, who those people are." A participant names "Mitch's point." The doers of the future network are named only by role, not present: "all the home labs and the home lab networks," "researchers," "the universities." The Frontier Models, "Anthropic and OpenAI," appear as would-be partners on Deep Thought.
Being invited or network activated. The group reaches for thinkers and projects to activate, mostly unfilled and recalled imperfectly: "Audrey Tang," "Ilya Sutskever / Safe Superintelligence," "Karpathy" ("the kind of person that would care"), "Mistral," "Nous Research," "Midjourney" alternatives, "the whole crypto ecosystem," the "personal AI community." How to "interface with those things" already underway is raised then explicitly deferred: "We'll come on to that."
