โ๏ธ๐โ๏ธ๐ MyTerms โ The Agreement Layer
MyTerms is IEEE Std 7012โข-2025 โ machine-readable personal privacy terms, hosted neutrally by Customer Commons (customercommons.org/p7012). The terms are written by persons โ not imposed, but proposed: the First Person proposes, the entity accepts, counter-offers once, or declines. This site carries agentprivacy's MyTerms body of work: the founding-member application to the MyTerms Alliance and the IEEE 7012 integration into the dual-agent architecture.
The honest line, always: the standard specifies agreement, not enforcement.
Where it sits in the architecture
In the privacy value equation ฮฆ = ฮฆ_agent(ฮฃ) ยท ฮฆ_data(ฮ) ยท ฮฆ_inference(ฮ), IEEE 7012 is the ฮฃ axis (agent separation) with coarse ฮ policy โ and it is silent on ฮ. Compliance is a precondition for measurable ฮฃ, not a substitute for the dual-agent architecture or the cryptographic substrate beneath it. The standard names what the contract is; agentprivacy supplies the enforcement the standard does not.
