MyTerms Diffusion Strategy

Live Development, Guest Collaboration & Community Energy

Document Type: Supporting Material for MyTerms Alliance Application
Author: privacymage / agentprivacy
Date: February 1, 2026 (refreshed April 22, 2026 against IEEE 7012 Integration Plan V2)

Overview

Standards don't spread through specifications alone. They spread through demonstration, community, and momentum. This document outlines agentprivacy's strategy for diffusing IEEE 7012 / MyTerms into practical adoption through live development streams, guest collaborations, named conference venues, and the Privacy is Value V5 blog series.

The methodology proves itself through multiplication — same principles across written documentation, narrative spellbooks, audio narration, podcast, visual architecture guides, and interactive AI agents. If it only worked one way, it would be fragile. It works every way we've tried.

Named venues ahead

  • AIW #3. Talk focus: the Σ-axis mapping of IEEE 7012 and the "agreement, not enforcement" clarification. Targets the agent-architecture audience and separates the standard from the implementation choices that actually determine privacy outcomes.
  • IIW #43. Working session on the vouchable-credential / VRC crosswalk. Co-conveners ideally include at least one IEEE 7012 working group member (Doc Searls, Justin Byrd, Mary Hodder, or Scott Mace) and at least one First Person Project / Choudhuri-Garg contributor. Session output: a shared crosswalk document.

Convergence framing

IEEE 7012, the First Person Project, the BGIN IKMP WG, and agentprivacy each arrived at bilateral recording, small-roster agreement selection, and accumulated trust as primitives — by different paths. Diffusion emphasises convergence, not priority. "We identified this first" is not the story; the noosphere-convergence across independent lines is.

The Vibe Coding Format

What It Is

Live development streams where AI agents create and integrate MyTerms as a priority into existing sites and workflows—with narration, teaching, and guest collaboration.

The Core Loop

1. Pick a target (site, workflow, integration)
2. AI agent does implementation heavy-lifting
3. Human narrates, explains, teaches
4. Guests bring their use cases
5. Recording becomes documentation
6. Pattern becomes reusable
7. Viewer becomes implementer

Why Live?

  • Transparency builds trust - Watch the sausage being made
  • Questions get answered - Real-time community interaction
  • Mistakes become lessons - No false perfection
  • Energy is contagious - Excitement spreads through presence
  • Collaboration is visible - Others want to join

Stream Format (90-120 minutes)

Segment Duration Content
Opening 10 min What we're building today, why it matters
Guest Intro 10 min Who's joining, their context, their challenge
Setup 15 min Environment, existing code, target site
Implementation 45-60 min AI agent working, human narrating, guest contributing
Testing 15 min Does it work? Edge cases? Refinement
Reflection 10 min What we learned, what's reusable, what's next
Q&A 10 min Community questions, suggestions, follow-ups

Written summary SEO, accessibility Blog, documentation
Code snippets Implementation reference GitHub, Gist
Pattern documentation Reusable templates agentprivacy docs
Guest interview segment Relationship content Podcast feeds

Content Calendar (Example Quarter)

Month 1: Foundation Streams

  • Week 1: "What is MyTerms?" - Introduction with Customer Commons guest
  • Week 2: "Swordsman Meets SD-BASE" - First integration demo, framed as the agreement layer (not the enforcement layer)
  • Week 3: "Cookie Slashing with Contracts" - Enforcement in action; explicit on what the standard does not cover
  • Week 4: "Guest Challenge: [Site X]" - First external implementation

Month 2: Expansion Streams

  • Week 5: "Data Portability (SD-BASE-DP)" - Advanced agreement
  • Week 6: "Enterprise Use Case" - Guest with compliance needs
  • Week 7: "Multi-site Coordination" - Same terms across domains
  • Week 8: "Guest Challenge: [Workflow Y]" - Non-browser context

Month 3: Deep Dives

  • Week 9: "Intentcasting (PDC-INTENT)" - Going to market under your terms
  • Week 10: "AI Training Terms (PDC-AI)" - Data contribution agreements
  • Week 11: "Privacy Pools + MyTerms" - Financial privacy integration; ZK substrate as the Δ enforcement below the agreement
  • Week 12: "Quarterly Retrospective" - What worked, what's next

Privacy is Value V5 blog series integration

IEEE 7012 references land across the remaining three blog posts rather than in a dedicated post:

  • Part 3 ("The Dragon Wakes") — passing reference only. The Dragon/Theia material is inter-universe impact; IEEE 7012 is mundane agreement infrastructure. Forcing it in would dilute both.
  • Part 4 ("The Dihedral Mirror") — natural home for IEEE 7012 in the blog arc. Mirror symmetry maps to bilateral recording (§5.2.4). The dihedral group structure frames the two-party constraint (§5.4.3). Substantive public treatment of the standard lives here.
  • Part 5 ("The Amnesia Protocol") — a single poem on the commons as neutral ground. Customer Commons as the place agreements live when neither party owns them.

Community Energy Maintenance

Presence Commitments

Daily:

  • Monitor MyTerms/agentprivacy channels
  • Respond to implementation questions
  • Share relevant content/updates

Weekly:

  • Live stream (or recorded session)
  • Written documentation update
  • Alliance coordination check-in

Monthly:

Energy Sources

What keeps us going:

  1. The mission - Privacy architecture must win before surveillance network effects lock in
  2. The community - Real people building real things
  3. The results - Watching implementations go live
  4. The learning - Every stream teaches something new
  5. The collaboration - Working with brilliant people across the ecosystem

Avoiding Burnout

  • Sustainable pace - One quality stream beats three rushed ones
  • Guest rotation - Others carry content weight
  • Batch production - Record when energized, release steadily
  • Community contribution - Enable others to create content
  • Clear boundaries - Async communication has response windows

Metrics & Evolution

What We Track

Metric Why It Matters Target (Year 1)

Closing

Standards succeed when they become infrastructure—when using them is easier than not using them. This diffusion strategy is designed to:

  1. Show MyTerms working in real contexts
  2. Teach implementation patterns that scale
  3. Connect implementers into a supportive community
  4. Maintain energy that sustains long-term adoption

The live coding format isn't just marketing. It's how we learn, how we build, how we spread. Every stream is a real implementation. Every guest brings real challenges. Every viewer might become the next implementer.

The standard exists. Now we make it live.

"Watch the implementation. Join the conversation. Build the future."
