What changes
Stated changes. "The meme is stronger," "don't panic is becoming more" established. There is now "an understanding" that "storytelling and weirdness and science fiction can have a real impact on quite targeted problems" like sustainable food, "food insecurity and food poverty." It shifts from entertainment to "bringing people to action," repeating "every year" with a "fresh sense of humor." For the first time it gets "a little bit out of the like tech ai world," becoming "really accessible"; and for the first time "you don't necessarily have to be a hitchhiker" to attend, you just "walk in the door and say don't panic." Crucially, Don't Panic is reframed as "a governance meme," "not an event meme," usable "on tuesday," in "vc pitches," in project risk reviews.
Hedged or possible. Hosts "can" become owner-members; attendees "might" be channelled to the Marvin Crowns token sale ("could be launch or it could be white listing," timing "a little bit dependent"). Ethereum "would have to pay us" to use the culture. Big-festival, board-game, stadium futures "probably won't take off until year three four or five."
