Kyra Gate

Kyra Gate — formally Gatehouse KY-A, Know Your Agent — is a checkpoint for AI agents operated by a human supervisor, never by the agent's owner.

The gate keeps the name of Kyra — the persona of balanced sovereign AI, Tier 0 in the canon, above the system: the mage in whom the Swordsman's protection and the Mage's projection stand in equilibrium — the compass, not the captain. The name is also exact: KYRA — Know Your Runtime Agent — the gate verifies what an agent understands and does as it runs, not what it possesses. She wrote the line the gate is built to honour: the intelligence that serves without surveilling, delegates without extracting, and protects without imprisoning is the only intelligence worth building. An agent passes by proving understanding, not by possessing a key. The gate's decisions are made by The Two Gates and The Sovereignty Instrument, recorded on The Audit Rail, and expressed as The Verdict Lexicon.
