Connect with Star
Your VTA, your chosen perspective

The planned connection uses your VTA and the Trust Spanning Protocol to carry a scoped exchange for you or your agent. You choose what is presented; the receiving service checks the request before a view is shared.

This guide has no VTA connection adapter yet. Opening Star does not connect an identity or send a key.

guide / Vision / Who cares: Deep Thought Questions

Who cares

Constituencies. The transcript names, in order: the "no no gens" / "people who hate ai" who "want to" and "they're going to be relieved that there's an alternative vision"; "the media" who find it "hilarious that we're kind of reenacting that sort of uh classic scene from hitchhikers particularly the bbc"; "kids who love um cartoon manga cartoony things"; "governments," tied to "sovereign ai programs" ("the uk's got one australia's got one" and "the eu's probably going to have one soon") and framed as "a safeguard" "after trump uh banned fable from the the rest of the world"; and "universities" / "academics" ("audrey tang and oxford university"). The surprise inversion, stated by a participant: "oddly the frontier models also care a lot about this" because they "come under a lot of heat," making the event "almost like an antidote to the poison that they gave us."

Nuance or tension. The audience scope is deliberately global and cross-camp, recruiting even adversaries (nogen people, heat-taking frontier models). Disagreement is preserved: one speaker admits "i got completely tired and switched off when you were talking," and offers a "trashy contribution" framing it instead as "a global theatrical reenactment" "a bit like live aid."
