What changes
Stated changes. The project's self-perception hardens. "We feel more formal and we feel prepared" for the AGM, and crucially "we no longer feel just like an art event and an interesting project we're a serious business our business plan is solid our financial plan is solid we're capable of raising money." Prior Patron Fish commitments shift from promise to received funds: "that day they made commitments and this is when we actually like receive the money in the bank account." An annual rhythm is established: every February 2nd "you look at your accounts ... the code and the legal and your ip" then "tweak it reform it." They run "our own decentralized davos or our un davos" via "business dinners." The framing escalates to "reboot the earth operating system."
Hedged or possible. "It might be an academic thing"; February is "quite a good idea date to do a conference." Sponsors "maybe they want to" sponsor or place a logo. The not-for-profit "can be turning over hundreds of millions" and "attract ... billions." Risk: "what happens when frontier labs approach us ... we might have to say sorry but we ... don't give away equity."
