What changes

Stated changes. The world's feeling shifts: "from just um doom and gloom to don't panic to oh we can build something now we can make something now." A new non-monetary path to relevance appears via time-banking: "my path is actually i need to contribute 42 hours in order to get those credits," "thinking about new forms of currency because at that point there isn't really any money involved," foregrounding "the reputation it's the learning." Those "priced out" of expensive tokens gain "another way that i can get these tokens with a good idea." A governance burden becomes real: "you're now being entrusted by the world's governments and largest uh frontier models to allocate compute wisely and you have to have that figured out," with "the decision makers like very clearly listed." This is Robbie's "worry about... what happens when it succeeds... very much coming into play."

Hedged or possible. The mood shift is hoped, not assured ("hopefully there'll be literally a survey evidence that now people are much more hopeful"). Tackling "some of the pressing problems of today" is offered as "that might be the theme." The governance fix "has to be bolted down," still aspirational.
