How it 'becomes real'
Asked directly. No one asks the becoming-real question outright; realness is enacted, not interrogated. The closest felt moment is the count that lands the board: "now i'm pretty satisfied actually... i'm pretty happy i'm pretty happy with the the flow." The turn to actuality is named as a threshold: sweeping every non-milestone card into a pile, "we are now about to begin the real work," answered with unease, "oh i don't like the sound of that." Realness here is the moment the wall becomes twelve titles you can act on.
Texture from elsewhere. The felt realness is quieter than the optimism. Stretch goals carry genuine awe, "that would just be an absolutely seismic event," "i would feel pretty special." But the honest texture is ambivalence and craft: mock-mourning the swept cards ("i'm sorry about all that beautiful work... because we're evil people"), the dolphin drawn instead of written, and the closing note of fragile infrastructure, "your account has stopped syncing... it's still recording."
