How it 'becomes real'

Asked directly. Asked "what would make you say that this is becoming real," answers stay concrete and small at first: "an email from anthropic thanking us and saying we're a national recognition"; "when we approach the people to those key people... for a podcast interview they want to talk to us," and "the more and more that goes we know we're on the right kind of uh path"; "the more signups we have a membership we have and the more particularly spaces around the world that um say we need this and they've got a clear use"; and "some people getting angry that it's not already happened so like why where where's my tokens."

Texture from elsewhere. The felt-realness lands on emotion, distinct from generic hope: "this moment being emotional and everyone being emotional about it would be the biggest indicator," "like i mean live aid was almost pure emotion people should probably cry at this event and if they do that would make me feel like the it's actually real... in that emotional thing." The honest shadow: the "no gen uh pushback," "consuming vast amounts of like water and environmental things," is named as "the danger" and parked, "not going to there right now."
