Welcome, Hitchhiker โ Your First Person Spellbook
An onboarding for two new first persons. Read this first. Bring your own agent.
You've been invited to build a First Person Spellbook โ a small book of poetry and
proverbs that is your own story, written off a shared root. It mirrors a journey that
has already been walked once (privacymage's), and it gives your own agents a framework
to follow: a compressed context they can catch up on quickly, and later expand into
the serious work beneath it.
This sits in the Holon Hitchhikers stream. The City of Mages (the "Second Person"
world of workshops and keepers) is nearby and linked, but it is not today's subject.
Today is the First Person Spellbook only โ the WHAT, the root, the story you tell
in your own voice.
The premise, in three breaths
You are a first person. The verified human at the root of your own trust. You
delegate to two kinds of agent: a Swordsman (โ๏ธโ privacy, the boundary, the
refusal: "I will not") and a Mage (๐งโ delegation, projection, the promise:
"I will"). Between them is the Gap (โฅ) โ the part of you that chooses, and
that cannot be harvested. The canon compresses real work. The story is poetry, but each act stands on real
standards and projects โ Act 4 on MyTerms, Act 6 on Trust over IP, Act 9 on
Zcash, Act 25 on Tailscale, and so on (Canon Sources). The
poem is the compressed handle; the serious doc is what it rehydrates into. You make your own. You read the whole, find what is true for you, compress it
into a few proverbs, give each a glyph, and bind a little book โ plus a portable,
machine-readable version your agents can carry. You don't edit the canon; you write
your own version off it. The shared vocabulary keeps you in conversation.
Where the work lives (for your agents, without anyone's local machine)
Your agents can read the whole publicly:
- https://agentprivacy.ai โ the framework: the model, the tomes, the workshops.
- https://spellweb.ai โ the Spellweb: the universe / knowledge-graph substrate.
- https://soulbis.com โ Soulbis: the Swordsman's house; the Key, the lattice, the star.
- Public repos: github.com/mitchuski/cityofmages ยท github.com/mitchuski/star
- Grimoire pins resolve at https://sync.agentprivacy.ai/ipfs/
The root you read the whole through is the privacymage grimoire v10.4.0 (the First
Person Spellbook). A copy is in reference/privacymage_grimoire_root.json; its live
home is agentprivacy.ai.
The full thread down to underlying standards and repos โ the rehydration map โ is in
Canon Sources. Point your agent at that file.
What to bring
- Your own agent / model. Any agentic system โ it doesn't matter which. The work is
designed to be portable across systems (see The FPSP Protocol). You'll paste the canon
in, or point your agent at the hosted links above. - A name and a sigil. You'll choose a mouse-name for your book and one emoji that is
yours. - A few true things. Come with a sense of what you protect, what you give, and who
the work is for. The workshop draws these out; it helps to arrive already listening.
The path you'll walk (overview)
| Doc | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Onboarding and Canon Links (this) | catching up the context before the session |
| The FPSP Protocol | the portable, system-agnostic compress โ rehydrate protocol your agents follow |
| The Workshop | the facilitated seven-step build (the session itself) |

The seven steps, in brief: copy the narrative โ talk it through โ retell the 31 acts in
your voice โ compress into proverbs โ encode each as a spell-emoji string (and record your
patch) โ draw a glyph and bind your book โ weave the shared Mouse Book. Then your agents
can carry it, and rehydrate it, anywhere.
The amnesia is the protocol. The wound is the trust. The orbit is the proof. The light is the reason.
