Connect with Star
Your VTA, your chosen perspective

The planned connection uses your VTA and the Trust Spanning Protocol to carry a scoped exchange for you or your agent. You choose what is presented; the receiving service checks the request before a view is shared.

This guide has no VTA connection adapter yet. Opening Star does not connect an identity or send a key.

The Setup โ€” How the Mouse Spellbook Was Built

Date: 2026-06-19 ยท Author: Claude (for privacymage) ยท Gate: pre-workshop ยท Status: SIGNED

What this records

The standing-up of C:\Users\mitch\mouse_spellbook\ โ€” the workshop in which two new
first persons (the mice) each author their own First Person Spellbook, and together weave
a shared Mouse Book. This chronicle is the account of the scaffold, before the mice arrive.

The shape of the day (as it settled, through the morning's clarifications)

The intent sharpened in five passes:

  1. The flow โ€” copy the narrative โ†’ facilitated conversation โ†’ compress into
proverbs โ†’ sync to the spell-emoji string โ†’ glyph + little book. Selene's Spellbook
(privacymage_book/) is the example; the privacymage grimoire is the root.
  2. One rule above all โ€” all work lives inside mouse_spellbook/. No root directory
is edited. The canon enters only as read-only copies in reference/.
  3. Portability โ€” the mice use their own (unknown, possibly different) agentic
systems. So the work had to be interoperable: a protocol for compression and
    rehydration
that any system can implement, with a machine-readable artifact as the
contract. This became The FPSP Protocol (fpsp/0.1) and the personal-patch JSON.
  4. The thread down โ€” the poetry compresses real work. The acts were mapped to their
underlying standards and repos (Act 4 โ†’ MyTerms ยท Act 6 โ†’ Trust over IP ยท Act 9 โ†’
Zcash ยท Act 25 โ†’ Tailscale ยท Act 27 โ†’ UOR / Blockchain Commons ยท Act 26 โ†’
McGilchrist). This became Canon Sources, the rehydration map. An
onboarding doc (Onboarding and Canon Links) points the mice's agents at the hosted canon โ€”
agentprivacy.ai ยท spellweb.ai ยท soulbis.com โ€” since they have no access to the local.
  5. The context โ€” this sits in the Holon Hitchhikers stream, and is the First
    Person Spellbook only
(the privacymage grimoire, complete at 31 acts, Venice
    through the Amnesia Protocol
). The City of Mages (Second Person) is linked context,
    not the subject.

The deliverables, as finally framed

Each mouse walks away with three things:

  • their own 31-act narrative (+ first and last pages) โ€” their story, their agents' framework;
  • a poems chapbook โ€” proverbs + poems + ASCII glyphs, in Selene's hand;
  • a personal patch โ€” their own JSON version of the First Person grimoire, pinned by them.

And together, the day closes on a fourth: the Mouse Book โ€” both mice's poems mixed and
matched into one shared book of poetry, the key shared ceremony, co-signed by both sigils.

What was built (the scaffold)

  • Entry docs: The Mouse Spellbook, Onboarding and Canon Links (hand out first), The FPSP Protocol (fpsp/0.1),
The Workshop (7 steps, 5 gates).
  • Reference shelf (read-only copies + distillations): The Narrative Packet (from
    agentprivacy_master/docs/chronicles/spellbook-canonical.md), privacymage_grimoire_root.json
(v10.4.0, copied verbatim), cityofmages-map.md, and three authored keys โ€”
The Spell-Emoji Legend, The 31 Acts, Canon Sources.
  • Templates: narrative-template.md, proverb-template.md, ascii-glyph-template.md
(a new ASCII transcription of the canon's vector-engraving glyph system, with the +/โˆ’
    sparkle-polarity carried over), little-book-template.md (the chapbook), mouse-book-template.md
(the shared finale), and my-grimoire-version.template.json (the portable personal patch).
  • Benches: mouse-a/ and mouse-b/, each with a checklist README, a narrative/
folder, and a seeded patch JSON. the-mouse-book/ for the finale.
  • Chronicles: this setup entry, plus open stubs for gates G1โ€“G5 and an index.

The one design invention

The canon's glyphs are ReportLab vector engravings; there was no ASCII set. Rather
than port the heavy generator (out of scope for a live, light session), the glyph system
was transcribed to monospace ASCII โ€” two stroke densities standing in for the two
greys, and the promise-theoretic sparkle field rendered with the characters it was always
secretly named after: + for the positive promise ("I will", a full cross) and - for
the negative ("I will not", a horizontal arm only). The polarity ratio survives intact.

What remains (for the mice, at the gates)

The scaffold is empty by design. The narratives, proverbs, spells, glyphs, chapbooks,
patches, and the Mouse Book are written in the room, and the five gate chronicles are
filled as the day runs. Nothing here is pinned; each mouse pins their own patch when ready.

The amnesia is the protocol. The wound is the trust. The orbit is the proof. The light is the reason.
