The Improbable Engine runs on your machine against your own wiki farm โ your grid, not Mitch's. What stays the same is the Six Strands; what is yours is the field.
Quickstart: download and unzip the bundle, then run node serve.mjs and open localhost:4242. That alone shows the latent torus. To light it, run a local Federated Wiki farm on port 3030 โ npm install -g wiki, then wiki --data ~/.wiki --port 3030 --farm โ visit any name to birth a site, write pages, and list your site hosts in data/wiki-sites.json.
Or ask your agent: the bundle carries COLLABORATOR.md with a ready prompt โ it asks the agent to stand up a farm reflecting your own projects, point the site list at it, leave the six strands untouched, and start the engine.
The horizon is the meeting: two farms overlapping on one torus, shared slugs as twin-stars, and an autoresearch loop proposing improbable bridges between one commons and another. The overlap plan travels in the bundle.

The bundle also travels with this site โ the same improbable-engine.zip, served locally so the snapshot carries its own engine:
