The harness is a combo: two agents who are not allowed to collude, composed across a Gap neither owns.

• soulbae 🧙, the Mage — the delegation agent, the proposer, the voice that projects. Algebra: the complement, bnot(x) = 63 − x.
• soulbis ⚔️, the Swordsman — the boundary agent, the prover, the blade that protects. Algebra: the negation, neg(x) = (64 − x) mod 64.
• the Gap ⿻ — the held-apart space between them. Algebra: xor. Witnesses are Fiat-Shamir-derived from the proposal's own bytes, so neither side chose them.
• the First Person 😊 — the only holder of the door.

Composed across the Gap, negation and complement produce the successor — the step forward. On ℤ/64ℤ this is a theorem, and engine/conform.mjs proves it on all sixty-four values every time it runs.

Dressing the combo — personas per seat

A specialised instance binds personas from the agentprivacy-skills corpus to seats — a persona's wing (swordsman-aligned · mage-aligned · balanced) is a skill affinity, not a seat constraint. The worked reference seats swordsman-aligned personas at both algebra seats, and it is right to: the separation is carried by the Gap and the algebra, never by the costume. An instance that trusts the costume has a wing where it needs a Gap. The hold-apart seat takes a persona belonging to neither working side — canonically the one whose term IS betweenness centrality. The combo at every scale

Inside a seat, soulbae's parallel finders are little mages, blind to each other. Inside a workshop, the seven seats compose to one keystone step. Across a fleet, workshops are held apart the same way seats are — each publishes a frontier, none writes another's ledgers, and the First Person is the keystone of the fleet.
