The Disclosure Ladder
How much of a thing crosses a wire is not a yes/no question. Five rungs, from everything to nothing:
D0 ยท RAW โ the pages as written. Nobody but the keeper, unless the keeper says otherwise.
D1 ยท ACTIONS โ what to do, with every named person, product or identifier reduced to its role.
D2 ยท PRINCIPLES โ the governing rule. No procedure, no names, no step order.
D3 ยท MATHS โ structure only: relations, types, cardinalities. No domain nouns at all.
D4 ยท ADDRESS โ the shape of the walk and its digest. No page content whatsoever.
D4 is not a failure mode
A peer holding D4 cannot generate an answer from it. That is the correct outcome for a peer who has not earned more โ the gate refuses by having nothing to give, rather than by saying no.
D4 is also what a star chart has always rendered: a constellation is a walk with no page bodies attached. The rendering came first; the name came later.
Rendering down is destructive
A telling at D2 is written at D2 and contains no titles. You cannot recover D0 from it. This matters: a display-time filter over full content is one bug away from a leak, whereas content that was never written cannot leak.
The tellings are precomputed โ see The Compression. If a page has no telling at the tier a grant asks for, the answer is a refusal, never the page. Falling back would misreport the tier, which is the exact failure the whole lane exists to prevent.
