Connect with Star
Your VTA, your chosen perspective

The planned connection uses your VTA and the Trust Spanning Protocol to carry a scoped exchange for you or your agent. You choose what is presented; the receiving service checks the request before a view is shared.

This guide has no VTA connection adapter yet. Opening Star does not connect an identity or send a key.

Template โ€” the Proverb

A proverb is the seed of your spell. Compress one raw truth (from your Step-2
conversation) into one or two sentences that hold their shape on their own.

The form

A privacymage proverb is:

  • Short. Said in a breath. If you need a comma-spliced third clause, it's two proverbs.
  • Dual or triune. It holds forces in tension:
    • dual โ€” blade โŠฅ spell, keep โŠฅ give, hidden โŠฅ shown.
    • triune โ€” Swordsman ยท Mage ยท First Person (refuse ยท give ยท choose).
  • Promise-shaped. It turns on a will or a will not โ€” a giving or a refusing.
  • True without the canon. A stranger who never read a word should still feel it.

The shape, from the canon

Study these โ€” they are the hand you're writing in (all from the grimoire root):

The swordsman who never strikes guards nothing; the mage who never casts commands nothing.

What the swordsman executes, the mage authorised; what the mage composes, the
swordsman proves capable; what both accomplish, the spellbook verifies.

The blade that becomes the spell loses both edges.

The mage's spell, once spoken, becomes the village weather.

One mirror observing both swordsman and mage collapses dignity into surveillance;
two mirrors, each watching the other, preserve dignity through mutual witness.

Patterns can be copied, choosing cannot be harvested.

And the closing aphorism of Selene's first poem โ€” note the turn:

The emissary who lights a fire to forget the master
becomes the master of the fire โ€”
and the fire, in time, forgets them both.

Write yours here (in your folder's proverbs.md)

### Proverb 1 โ€” <a short title>
<your proverb, one or two sentences>

(optional) Poem:
<a few lines, if the proverb wants to open into one>

Raw truth it came from: <the sentence from your conversation>
Forces: Swordsman = <what you refuse> ยท Mage = <what you give> ยท Gap = <what chooses>

Repeat for 3โ€“5 proverbs. One of them is your one true thing โ€” mark it; it becomes
your first_person.proverb in your grimoire version.
