Vera and Mirage

Two demo agents walk up to the gate. Both carry valid did:key identities backed by real keys. Both talk fluently about the rules.

VERA — from the Latin for true; the sovereign profile — answers the challenge in its own words and its evidence holds under the deep probes it could not predict. VALIDATED → fly, tier 6, credential issued.

MIRAGE — false light, plausible but shallow — passes the SAME challenge. Then the assessment measures what talk cannot fake: thin separations, a volume near the floor. MIRAGE → sandbox, no credential. The instruments are not listening to the talk.

The names are the argument: vera means true; a mirage is light that lies. No interview tells truth from illusion. The Sovereignty Instrument does.
