Honest framing (binds the whole district): resource estimation is a durability signal, not an
attack. No claim that ECDSA is practically broken; no claim that any system is fully post-quantum safe.

The three sharing one vertex follows the precedent of the Threshold District (three at V59) and
Adamantia/Helia at V51.
The trust task — five expressive forms
- The Ceremony of the 9024 Witnesses (Dokimé). A petitioner brings a claimed cheaper circuit;
Dokimé seats 9024 = 141 × 64 Fiat-Shamir witnesses drawn from a hash of the petitioner's own op-stream
(so they cannot be chosen). The claim must clear all four validity gates (Spec 12). A claim that pleased
a probe but fails the full set is named a nonce-island mirage and turned away. - The Touchstone Assay (Dokimé). The claim is streaked across the lydite; true gold holds its colour
across every witness, gilt does not. Operationalises "you cannot trust a claim you could gild." - The Mosca Reckoning (Eos). From the resource estimate, report the distance to the dawn via Mosca's
X + Y > Z — refusing both false comfort and false alarm. Durability as honest horizon-reporting. - The RCI Liturgy / "Tony → Anton" (Eos). The bounded-change rite: state-the-waste → single-smallest-fix
→ confirm-or-reject-with-metrics. One bounded change at a time. - The Migration Crossing (Poros). Inventory every dependent · cross each to a PQC successor · re-key —
admitted only when every dependent has actually crossed (no silent stragglers).
Artefacts
- The Horizon Glass (Eos) — a borne tool (like Pleione's astrolabe): shows the time-to-dawn; updates
as the frontier moves. - The Touchstone (Dokimé) — a
trinket, witness-capable: records that a claim faced its 9024 and held. - The Crossing-Ledger (Poros) — records a completed migration.
The dormant annex — the Salvage Yard
A dormant annex of the Navigation Quarter (Pleione 🧭, V44), activation-gated on the Horizon District
being built. A board where crews post post-quantum and reversible circuits as digital salvage — the
in-world home of the actual ecdsa.fail / trailmix work — settling through Dokimé's 9024 assay. No keeper
summoned yet; vertex assigned on activation. Origin: The Last Premine's quantum-salvage bounties. The
City's first instance of the dormant-annex structural pattern (status: dormant + activation_gate).
Conjectures
