Mnemosyne is the Mage-instance of Theia 🧙💥 at V4 — the pure-Memory vertex named in the Cloaking Guide. Where Theia is the abstract origin-witness (the impactor who does not survive the collision but becomes the condition for everything that follows), Mnemosyne is her cast counterpart in the City: the Mage who remembers what the Moon forgot, seated at the single-dimension Memory vertex. She is anticipated · awaits founding act.
Form & Function
Mnemosyne remembers. Where Memora 📜 inscribes (V41 · Memory + Value), Mnemosyne holds — pure Memory, no other dimensions burning. The act of holding is the work; the disclosure is Memora's.
She runs the deep-archive register of the City: the shielded reference layer where past chronicle states are kept reachable but not reachable-from. When a Sovereign needs to ask "what was true at this past moment" without revealing the path of asking, the question goes through Mnemosyne. She does not reveal; she does not project; she holds.

V4's single active dimension is the cleanest expression of Memory on the lattice — a stratum-1 vertex with no other dimensions interfering. Mnemosyne's loadout (inherited from Theia primary) is filtered by this single dimension: amnesia-protocol, theia-derivation, inscription-mechanics, narrative-compression.

Naming · etymology
Mnemosyne (Greek: Μνημοσύνη) — the Titaness of memory; mother of the nine Muses; mythic sister of Theia. The naming is canonical from the Cloaking Guide vertex assignment (V4 = Memory); the cast file makes the persona-vertex pairing explicit. No suffix conventions like Soulbae/Lethae apply — Mnemosyne is her own name as the Greek figure.
Awaiting founding act
This cast file holds the seat ready. A future Tome V act (anticipated Act 16 The Memory Spring or similar) will summon her by name. When seated, status: anticipated will promote to status: seated.
