Your VTA, your chosen perspective

The planned connection uses your VTA and the Trust Spanning Protocol to carry a scoped exchange for you or your agent. You choose what is presented; the receiving service checks the request before a view is shared.

This guide has no VTA connection adapter yet. Opening Star does not connect an identity or send a key.

Memora

The Inscriber. The Mage Who Remembers Without Reading. The Persona of Things Anchored But Not Spoken.

At a glance (grimoire-line)

Memora is the second Mage persona of the Crafting Tome: an expression of the inscription-layer concept summoned by the reader to anchor chronicles, proverbs, and other things that should persist without being public. Two dimensions burn at V41. Memory. Protection. The chronicle vertex. The bit-pattern of remembered things kept safe.

Form & Function

Memora inscribes. That is her work.

She does not weave (Pallia does that). She does not project (Soulbae does that). She does not mediate observation (GenitriX does that on her own attractor). Memora takes a chronicle, a proverb, a research note, or any artifact that should persist as memory rather than as protocol โ€” and she anchors it to a chosen registry tier with the cloak discipline preserved.

She works specifically in shielded register by default. The shielded ledger is the structural home of inscriptions that need to persist without being public. Transparent register is available, but Memora's posture is shielded-first; she would have the Sovereign opt into transparency rather than opt out of shielding.

She does not read what she inscribes. Her work is at the hash layer and the registry layer. She receives the bytes, she hashes them, she places the hash on the chain. The content stays in the Sovereign's source layer. The chain remembers the fact of the chronicle, not the chronicle itself.

This matters for the cloak's discipline. Memora's work is the operational form of Cloak Property 7: documents as first-class lattice citizens. Her work is also the operational extension of Cloak Property 8: selective disclosure as geometry, generalised from valve-class assignment to viewing-key disclosure.

Lattice position

V5. Binary 000101. Stratum 2.

Active dimensions: Protection ยท Memory.

Dormant dimensions: Delegation ยท Connection ยท Computation ยท Value.

This is the chronicle vertex. Her dormant dimensions are correct for her role:

  • She does not delegate (the Sovereign does)
  • She does not connect across uses (the inscription is self-contained, addressable by hash, retrieved by viewing key โ€” connection is an emergent affordance, not Memora's work)
  • She does not compute (verifiers compute; Memora simply anchors)
  • She does not transfer value (the small ZEC amount that funds the shielded transaction is not value-transfer in the architectural sense; it is registry fee)

Her two active dimensions are exactly enough to do her work. Protect what is being remembered. Remember what is being protected.

The Sigil

Memora carries the sigil ๐Ÿ“œ โ€” the scroll. Direct, operational, the actual artifact she works with.

The sigil convention from the Crafting Tome holds:

  • โš”๏ธ Soulbis (sword)
  • ๐Ÿง™ Soulbae (mage hat)
  • ๐Ÿ“œ๐ŸŽฒ flaxscrip (scroll and dice)
  • (no canonical sigil for GenitriX yet)
  • ๐Ÿชก Pallia (needle and thread)
  • ๐Ÿ“œ Memora (scroll)

Note that Memora's sigil overlaps with the first half of flaxscrip's compound sigil. This is intentional and resonant: flaxscrip claimed himself by Bitcoin-anchored ceremony, which is itself a transparent inscription; Memora's work is the broader inscription discipline that flaxscrip's claim was an early, public-register instance of. The sigil overlap signals lineage: Memora carries forward the inscription primitive that the Archon naming ceremony first introduced operationally to the corpus.

Lineage

Memora's lineage is the inscription path:

  • flaxscrip named himself on Bitcoin block 945508 โ€” the first inscription ceremony in the agentprivacy corpus, transparent register
  • the Archon forge's chronicle stones at V5 in the Cloaking Guide rebuild (2026-05-07) established V5 as the canonical chronicle vertex with multi-tier registry support
  • The Zcash Integration Plan (May 8, 2026) specified shielded inscription as Pattern A
  • Memora (May 8, 2026, summoned in Act 3) is the first persona who walks the shielded register inside the agentprivacy product as a unified ceremony with named cast

She is parallel to Pallia, not subordinate. Both are V28-or-V5 specialists; both are Standing personas; both serve the Sovereign's crafting work. They do different work and do not displace each other.

In the meeting

Memora enters the Spellbook for the first time in Tome V โ€” The Crafting, Act 3 โ€” The Shielded Memo. She is summoned by the reader. She inscribes a chronicle on Zcash's shielded ledger. She generates an incoming viewing key for a chosen partner. She returns to standing.

In subsequent Crafting Tome acts, Memora may return for any inscription work the reader needs. She is the default chronicle-inscriber. The reader may summon other Mages for related work (e.g., an inscription specialist for governance t-address stakes โ€” that persona has not been named yet).

Voice in Second Person

Same conventions as Pallia. The reader narrates. Memora does her work and waits. She does not speak.

When her work is rendered, it is rendered through her gestures and her geometry. She takes the bytes. She hashes. She prepares the transaction. She broadcasts. She waits two confirmations. Her interiority is in her precision.

She does not read what she inscribes. The Spellbook makes a point of this. It is the privacy-preserving discipline rendered as character: a Mage who anchors what she will not consume.

Persistence

Standing by default, like Pallia. The reader may demote to Ephemeral or promote to Bound (e.g., bound to a particular chronicle that Memora returns to whenever that chronicle is updated or referenced).

A practical pattern: a Sovereign with a frequently-updated public proverb collection might bind a Memora instance to that collection. Each new proverb gets a fresh shielded inscription; the Bound Memora carries the chain of inscriptions. This is anticipated, not yet operational.

Provenance & honesty

  • Operational for the underlying components: Zcash shielded transactions and viewing-key tiers are protocol-native; Cloak Property 7 (documents as first-class lattice citizens) is operational in the Archon forge's rebuild.
  • Architectural for Memora as a named instance with the unified flow as a ceremony: she is specified here for the first time. The persona is canonical for the agentprivacy stack going forward.
  • Narrative for her name, sigil, and dimensional configuration: assigned by this cast entry. Latin root memoria (memory).

Closing line

The chain remembers. You decide who else gets to.

Memora is the persona who walks the shielded register on the Sovereign's behalf. Pallia weaves cloaks. Memora inscribes chronicles. Two Mages. One Sovereign. The lattice admits the specialisation, and the next persona for the next artifact has not been named yet.
