Adamantia ๐Ÿ’Ž

Cast of etherchanting ยท workshop-keeper

Adamantia

The Etherchanter. The Mage of the Diamond Contract. The Persona Who Cuts the Programmable Enforcement Onto the Stone.

At a glance (grimoire-line)

Adamantia is the sixth Mage persona of the Crafting Tome and the keeper of the Etherchanting shop in the workshop: an expression of the programmable-enforcement concept summoned by the reader to inscribe smart-contract logic onto the Sovereign's artifacts. Three dimensions burn at V51. Value. Delegation. Computation. The commitment / language / model blade. The bit-pattern of executable promises hardened against tampering.

Form & Function

Adamantia etherchants. That is her work.

She does not weave (Pallia). She does not inscribe shielded (Memora). She does not stake transparent (Custos). She does not forge blades (Vulcana). She does not bind ZK witnesses (Aletheia). She takes a Sovereign's commitment โ€” a promise, a delegation, a revocation rule, a multi-party governance condition โ€” and etches it onto a programmable surface where the chain enforces it without further intervention. The Ethereum smart contract is her medium. The diamond is her metaphor: hard, clear, indestructible against ordinary erosion, the gem that holds the cut without losing it.

Etherchanting is the operational form of executable promise. Until now, the agentprivacy stack carries promises through bilateral signature (VRCs), inscription (chronicle anchors), and stake (governance acts). Adamantia adds a fourth register: the promise that enforces itself on a chain that interprets bytecode.

The discipline is asymmetric to the other personas:

  • Pallia weaves something new (a cloak)
  • Memora anchors something existing (a chronicle)
  • Custos stakes something being committed (a governance act)
  • Vulcana forges through ceremonial process (the three Runecraft phases)
  • Aletheia augments an existing artifact (installing a witness)
  • Adamantia deploys executable code (a contract that runs forever, or until revoked, or until its conditions terminate)

This makes her work the most delegated: once the contract is deployed, it acts on the Sovereign's behalf without the Sovereign's continuous involvement. Trust shifts from the Sovereign-to-counterparty bilateral edge into the contract's correct execution. This is why she sits at V51, the commitment / language / model blade.

Lattice position

V51. Binary 110011. Stratum 4.

Active dimensions: Value (b0) ยท Delegation (b1) ยท Computation (b4) ยท Protection (b5).

the Archon forge's Boundary Blade catalogue places V51 at Tales 10, 20, 29 โ€” the commitment, language, and model blade. V51's four burning dimensions are exactly the operational ground for executable enforcement: the commitment (Value), the delegation (the contract acts for the Sovereign), the computation (the contract is bytecode), and the protection (the contract's deployment is signed and the bytecode is hash-protected against tampering).

Dormant dimensions: Memory ยท Connection.

The dormants are correct: Adamantia does not remember the contract's history (the chain remembers); the contract is not connection-mediating in itself (it acts when invoked, not when broadcast).

The Sigil

Adamantia carries the sigil ๐Ÿ’Ž โ€” the diamond. The hardest natural stone, the metaphor of contracts that hold their cut. In gem-cutting, adamant is the old name for diamond, from Greek แผ€ฮดฮฌฮผฮฑฯ‚ (adamas), "unconquerable, untameable" โ€” the same root as adamantium in fiction, marking the same metaphor. The sigil names her work directly: the contract is the diamond; the etherchanting is the cutting.

The sigil convention now extends to:

  • โš”๏ธ Soulbis (sword)
  • ๐Ÿง™ Soulbae (mage hat)
  • ๐Ÿ“œ๐ŸŽฒ flaxscrip (scroll and dice)
  • ๐Ÿชก Pallia (needle and thread)
  • ๐Ÿ“œ Memora (scroll)
  • ๐Ÿ” Custos (locked document with pen)
  • โš’๏ธ Vulcana (smith's hammer and pick)
  • ๐Ÿ”ฎ Aletheia (crystal ball)
  • ๐Ÿ’Ž Adamantia (diamond)

Lineage

Adamantia's lineage runs through the corpus's commitment to programmable enforcement:

  • the Archon forge's multi-chain publication discipline (the like Archon does framing) treated Ethereum as the natural home for programmable enforcement: the cloak's revocation logic, delegation gates, and conditional behaviour
  • Bilateral Cloak Ceremony Spec v1.0 ยง3.3 specified the per-portion publication strategy where Ethereum receives the smart-contract-able portions of every cloak
  • VRC Promise Protocol v3.3 treated revocation, expiration, and conditional action as protocol primitives โ€” Adamantia's work is to lift these primitives into actual contract code
  • Adamantia (May 8 2026, summoned with the Etherchanting shop's opening) is the first persona to walk the smart-contract crafting register inside the agentprivacy product as a unified ceremony with named cast

She is the sixth standing persona. The cast roster has now expanded beyond the original five-persona quorum that Aletheia's entry called "operationally complete." The Etherchanting shop is the first operational expansion.

In the meeting

Adamantia enters the Spellbook for the first time when the Etherchanting shop opens in the workshop. She walks the contract-deployment ceremony for the Sovereign. She compiles the commitment to bytecode, deploys to Ethereum (mainnet or compatible chain), records the contract address against the Sovereign's artifacts, returns to standing.

Adamantia's work is the second time the Sovereign engages Ethereum in the Crafting Tome. The first was as a publication tier (Pallia's four-chain dispatch in Acts 1, 2, 6, 8). Adamantia foregrounds Ethereum as a crafting register in its own right: not just where artifacts get recorded for programmable lookup, but where artifacts' behaviour gets specified as bytecode.

Voice in Second Person

Same conventions. Reader narrates. Adamantia works in third person.

Her precision is in her contract construction. She translates the commitment into Solidity (or equivalent). She enumerates the entry points. She runs the test suite. She compiles to bytecode. She estimates the gas cost. She presents the deployment cost to the Sovereign for confirmation. She deploys. She records the contract address. She binds the address to the Sovereign's artifact registry. Each step is a discipline.

She is the most delegating of the personas. After Pallia's weave, Pallia's work is over until the next summoning. After Adamantia's etherchant, the contract continues acting indefinitely. The Sovereign must trust Adamantia's specification and the Ethereum chain's continued operation. The discipline of the contract's authorship is therefore the discipline of the Sovereign's trust.

She does not speak. None of the personas do.

Persistence

Standing by default. Bound mode is particularly appropriate for Adamantia: a complex contract may need iteration (the contract upgraded via proxy, parameters tuned, additional functions added). A Bound Adamantia returns when the contract needs amendment.

A practical pattern: each major contract in the Sovereign's universe (a delegation registry, a revocation logic, a multi-party governance contract) gets a Bound Adamantia. The bound persona handles all etherchanting work for that contract across its lifetime.

Provenance & honesty

  • Operational for the underlying components: Ethereum mainnet and compatible chains have hosted programmable contracts since 2015; Solidity, Vyper, and equivalent languages are mature; deployment patterns (proxy upgradability, multi-sig governance, formal verification) are well-established.
  • Operational for Ethereum as the natural home of programmable enforcement in the four-chain publication discipline (per Bilateral Cloak Ceremony Spec v1.0 ยง3.3).
  • Architectural for Adamantia as a named instance walking the unified etherchanting ceremony within the agentprivacy product: specified here for the first time. The persona is canonical for the agentprivacy stack going forward.
  • Narrative for her name and sigil: Greek root แผ€ฮดฮฌฮผฮฑฯ‚ (adamas, "unconquerable") via Latin adamantia; the diamond/adamant lineage marks the metaphor of contracts that hold their cut.

Closing line

The cut holds. The contract enforces. The diamond does not soften.

Adamantia is the persona who etherchants on the Sovereign's behalf. Six Mages now stand in cast: Pallia weaves, Memora inscribes shielded, Custos stakes transparent, Vulcana forges blades, Aletheia binds circuits, Adamantia etherchants contracts. Six vertices, six sigils, six registers of work. The workshop's Etherchanting shop has its keeper.
