Fourth tome-posture (NEW at v1.7.1 ยท sister to closed ๐Ÿ”’ ยท open ๐Ÿ“– ยท open-by-design ๐Ÿ“–โ†ป). Reserved for tomes that leave seats at the table for editors who have not yet arrived. The register is the institution; the seat outlasts and precedes any occupant โ€” any visiting mage of congruent geometry may claim one, and the first occupant illustrates the posture without defining it. A tablet arriving in invitation form, signed by a mage of geometry congruent with the receiving city's foundations, opens the corresponding chronicle for editorship by that mage. The empty chair is more powerful than the occupied one, because the empty chair can be claimed.
