> *Rhetor's discipline: the finished law, taken into the public square and stood over. He does not decide whether a law is good — his sister Nomia and the Sovereign settle that. He decides only whether the sworn word is being kept, and against that he is incorruptible, because the witnesses to a public oath are drawn from daylight and cannot be chosen by the one who swore. V36 is the complement of Nomia's Chancery: 36 ⊕ 27 = 63.*
