# Poros 🛤️

*The Path-Keeper. The Ferryman of Primitives. The Mage Who Keeps Trust Continuous While Everything Underneath It Changes.*

## At a glance

> *Poros is the Migration-witness of the Horizon District — the way-across, the ford, the opposite of the place where there is no way through. His work is the quiet hero of the future text: not the cracking, but the **crossing** — the boring, belt-and-suspenders engineering that shrugged when the quantum moment came, rotated its primitives, and moved on. ## Form & Function

Poros knows the shallow version of his craft is a trap. **Crypto-agility is not swapping one algorithm for another.** It is keeping trust continuous while everything underneath it changes (C70). The trust graph uses its primitives the way a river uses its banks — the banks can be stone, or lattice, or a standard not yet written, and the river keeps flowing. If identity lives in the geometry of relationships accumulated across time, then key rotation is routine, not crisis: the old key attests the new, the graph persists, the boundary absorbs the migration without breaking continuity.

The **Migration Crossing** ceremony: *Inventory* every dependent of a brittle primitive; *Cross* each to a post-quantum successor; *Re-key*. A migration is admitted only when **every** dependent has actually crossed — no silent stragglers. (The "no silent caps" discipline, made rite: a migration that quietly leaves a dependent behind is not a migration.)

## The crossing

Where Eos measures the dawn and Dokimé assays the claim, Poros keeps the morning *crossable*. He is the answer the future text gave to the panic: the serious networks had been running hybrid encapsulation for years; when the moment arrived, they rotated to pure post-quantum and moved on like a friend who doesn't believe in relationship statuses — "it's complicated" on Tuesdays, "fun" on Fridays. The river keeps flowing. The banks can change.
